Noted Financial Services Executive Emily Glassman Joins Ballast Rock Private Wealth

Ballast Rock Private Wealth, a Registered Investment Advisor with a focus on private-market investments, today announced that financial services executive Emily Glassman has joined as a Senior Advisor.

In her role, Ms. Glassman will assist the management team in outreach and strategy to individuals, families, business owners, entrepreneurs, and family offices seeking objective, unbiased guidance on investments.

“Emily’s knowledge of both wealth management and the role that institutional-quality private-market investments can play in accredited investors’ portfolios makes her a perfect fit for our team,” said Andrew Mescon, Chief Executive Officer of Ballast Rock Private Wealth. “We look forward to the impact she will have on our clients and on our entire organization.”

Ms. Glassman began her career in Institutional Equity Derivative Sales at Goldman Sachs. She then moved to wealth management, advising high-net-worth families on financial strategy, portfolio management, and estate planning at BBR Partners, a leading multi-family office.

Most recently, Emily spent seven years helping build Artivest, an online alternative assets platform for financial advisors, backed by KKR and Peter Thiel. Emily was Head of Business Development at Artivest and oversaw the growth of the platform to thousands of advisors before the company’s acquisition by iCapital.
